Beauty Brand Relaunch: Stagnant to Viral

The Problem

A major beauty and cosmetics brand had 500K Instagram followers. But their engagement was brutal. Less than 2% on most posts. Their content was technically beautiful but nobody engaged with it. Carousel posts of products. Lifestyle photography. Pretty but dead. They watched newer competitors dominate TikTok and Instagram Reels while they stayed stuck in 2019.

What We Did

Flipped the content mix completely. Instead of beautiful static posts, we went 70% short-form video (Reels and TikTok) and 30% everything else. Every video was built around trending sounds and moments people actually cared about.

Found micro-influencers with real audiences. We identified 12 creators (10-50K followers each) who actually used the products. Not sponsored posts. Ongoing partnerships where they featured products in their daily routines. Felt real because it was real.

Responded to everything, fast. Every comment within 2 hours. Participated in conversations. Built real relationships instead of ignoring people. This wasn’t about looking good. This was about people actually caring about the brand.
